Nokia opens a Research Center in California
Category: Nokia News
Nokia has opened a research center at the University of California, Berkeley. This center will develop new products for the Finnish company and its investigations will focus on four specific areas. The mobile platforms, the user interfaces, the radio cognitive and models of enriched contents.

Mary T. McDowell, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer leading the Corporate Development unit, has declared: “When it comes little money, then the investigation with long-term gains is reduced. But we will continue with primary research with a profitability in three to five years”.
Nokia has had great economic losses in the last quarter, but the company continues to bet on research and development in new products that are increasingly attractive to users. A good news for all that we hope increasingly better products by Nokia.
