Sales of N97 and the 5800 XpressMusic boards have joined 10 million Nokia phones throughout the world. These figures have been achieved in just 10 months to be available to users. Half of these sales were obtained in the past three months, helped by good reception of N97. This has overcome much expectations that it had Nokia with the N97.
The CEO of Nokia, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, has declared: “We have a unique position in the smartphone market. Nokia is the undisputed leading player in the smartphones space“. Currently Nokia already has more than 1100 million customers worldwide.
